Of course, part of the intention was to see if I could replace my digital workspace with something more ergonomic. For these reasons, it was a costly purchase, but I couldn’t resist the temptation.
🛒 Ordering & Delivery Experience
• Amazon: Delivery was faster, and customs clearance was smooth. However, the total cost was $20 higher since I couldn’t apply the first-time customer discount that’s offered exclusively on Viture’s website.
• Viture Website: While more budget-friendly and enriched with community perks (like access to the SpaceWalker app preview), the delivery encountered delays, getting stuck at a customs center for a few days, even though it shipped via UPS.
👓 Features We're Excited to Explore
• Display & Visuals: With virtual screens scaling up to 135", a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4000 nits peak brightness, I’m anticipating vibrant visuals whether it’s for streaming, gaming, or multitasking.• Comfort & Adjustability: The glasses’ lightweight build and myopia correction are promising for everyday use across different family members.
• Audio & Privacy: Harman-engineered sound and electrochromic lenses could offer a private, distraction-free environment ideal for commuting, co-working, or relaxing together.
👨👩👧 This wasn’t just a tech splurge—it was a thoughtful decision to explore how immersive AR could enhance family bonding. Whether we’re watching a movie together, comparing visual experiences, or trying out future co-op apps and screen sharing, I wanted everyone to get a feel for what next-gen multitasking and entertainment might look like. At least based on the product descriptions, these glasses seemed like the perfect tool. I’ll be able to share more detailed impressions after using them for about a month in future posts.
